ProfileGlow ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website at profileglow-production.up.railway.app. We are committed to protecting your personal data and complying with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you use our service:

  • LinkedIn profile URL — provided by you so we can analyse your public LinkedIn profile.
  • Payment information — processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card details, bank account numbers, or UPI IDs on our servers.
  • Usage data — basic analytics such as page views and referral source, collected automatically.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We use your personal data for the following specific purposes:

  • To generate your AI-powered LinkedIn profile optimisation report.
  • To process your payment of ₹199 via Razorpay.
  • To deliver your report as a downloadable PDF via your unique report link.
  • To provide customer support and process refund requests.
  • To improve our service quality and user experience.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate ProfileGlow. Each processes data only as necessary to provide their specific function:

Razorpay

Payment processing. Handles all payment data securely under PCI-DSS compliance. We receive only a payment confirmation and transaction ID.

Apify

Web data extraction. Accesses your publicly available LinkedIn profile data to generate the analysis.

Anthropic (Claude AI)

AI analysis. Processes your public LinkedIn profile data to generate personalised optimisation recommendations. Data is not used to train AI models.

5. Data Retention

  • Your generated report is stored for 90 days from the date of purchase to allow you to access it.
  • Your LinkedIn URL is retained for 180 days for customer support and refund processing purposes.
  • Payment transaction records are retained as required by applicable Indian tax and financial regulations.
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay under PCI-DSS standards and never touches our servers.

7. Your Rights Under DPDPA 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:

  • Right to Access — You may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and obtain a summary of such data.
  • Right to Correction and Erasure — You may request correction of inaccurate data or erasure of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal — You may raise a complaint with us regarding any data processing concern. We will respond within 30 days.
  • Right to Nominate — You may nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
